Finance Business Analyst

We’re looking for 2 x Finance Business Analysts to join our Commercial Finance team to support the exploitation of the UKI business opportunity by providing pro-active, insightful analysis and reporting that enables the business to make informed decisions around the delivery of the overall business strategy and capital investment. You will support the focus on performance management by providing on-going monitoring/tracking of performance and explanations for variances.

What you’ll be doing:

• Support the development of submissions for the Long-Range Plan, Budget and Forecast – specifically in relation to sales and cost of sales
• Analyse variance to forecast for central costs and marketing spend in the period end close process and provide updated projections for spend balance of year
• Ensure accurate and timely production and delivery of weekly trading packs, month end packs and all other reports that are required to be produced (Delivery, Promotional trading, Bakery, Waste, Retail)
• Support the continual improvement of existing reporting standards to reduce production and delivery time of all reports
• Assist in the development of standard reports for the business
• Provide pro-active, insightful, high quality decision-making support, ensuring business wide implications are considered, that enables the business to make the best decisions with regards to investment decisions (sales and promotional activity, loyalty and aggregator delivery)

What you’ll need:

• Newly or part qualified accountant 
• Strong commercial acumen & financial modelling skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Experience of delivering positive outcomes in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in a hospitality / retail business is preferred
