Technical Assurance Assistant

We’re looking for a Technical Assurance Assistant to join our Supply Chain department. Someone who will champion a culture of technical excellence by guiding and coaching teams across the brand on supplier assurance, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and legal compliance. 

You will ensure there is consistent product and supplier integrity by keeping systems up to date with evolving legal and company standards. Take the lead in safeguarding the business by managing accurate, reliable compliance data and documentation—covering everything from safety and hygiene to environmental and legal requirements.

This role can be based anywhere in UK mainland, but please note that there will be travel involved every month for meetings.

More about the role:

• Support with the development and maintenance of the systems, maintaining up-to-date records of all information and certifications related to food safety
• Develop and maintain a supplier risk assessment document based on legal and company standards 
• Conduct suppliers’ assurance audits in line with the company risk assessment, or required by the company 
• Collate, monitor and investigate food product complaints originated from suppliers 
• Support with updating the Allergan sheets and documentation

What you may already have:

• Previous experience in a similar or administrative role
• Food Safety knowledge
• Ability to work independently
• Keen for learning and developing your knowledge in this space
• Great at building and maintaining relationships 
• Excellent eye for detail
