We’re looking for an Operational Efficiency Manager to support in driving labour productivity and profit protection across our operations. You’ll play a key role in meeting labour budgets, improving forecasting accuracy, and ensuring consistent adherence to productivity principles. With a focus on cost control and operational effectiveness, you'll help optimise performance and deliver on key profit targets.
What to expect in the role:
Support companywide labour budget management to optimise delivery and reduce unproductive spend.
Develop and implement productivity tools, guidelines, and reporting in collaboration with Finance and Operations.
Act as a liaison with external partners (e.g. Fourth Hospitality, Stint) to apply industry best practices.
Coach and mentor Operations teams on budget control, accurate sales forecasting, and productivity targets.
Engage key stakeholders (e.g. People Business Partners) in delivering effective productivity solutions.
Ensure centralised reporting is operationally useful and supports labour target achievement.
Lead communication strategies to embed productivity principles across core operations.
Monitor implementation, drive continuous improvement, and recommend corrective actions.
What you’ll already have:
Knowledge of operational efficiency and performance optimisation, ideally within a multi-site or hospitality environment.
Strong analytical skills with experience in labour budget management and cost control.
Proven ability to develop and implement productivity tools and reporting frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and support cross-functional teams.
A coaching mindset, with the ability to mentor Operations teams on sales forecasting, budget control, and productivity principles.
Familiarity with centralised reporting systems and ensuring their relevance to operational performance.
