What to expect in the role:

• Lead the technical design and architecture of digital products and platforms, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives. 
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of engineering excellence, continuous learning, and innovation. 
• Champion a data-first approach to product architecture, ensuring data models, pipelines, and storage solutions are optimised.
• Oversee the implementation of best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing strategies, deployment processes, and documentation standards. 
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications and development tasks. 
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance product capabilities and development efficiency. 

What you’ll already have:

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Software Engineer with significant leadership responsibilities. 
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance software systems.
• Deep understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices. 
• Hands-on experience with modern programming languages, frameworks, and cloud platforms. 
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
